Terms and Conditions of Use
These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the website www.alrossio.pt and any purchases made through it. They apply to all users and customers of the online store operated by Alrossio 2 – Telecomunicações, Lda. By browsing the website and/or placing an order, the user declares that they have read, understood, and accepted these Terms and Conditions in full. Alrossio reserves the right to amend, update, or replace these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes take effect as of their publication on the website. Users are encouraged to review this page periodically.
1. General Information
Alrossio 2 – Telecomunicações, Lda., with registered office at Rua Aquiles Machado, nº 5, Loja Esqª, 1900-077 Lisbon, Portugal, and tax number (NIF) 515577600, is the entity responsible for managing and operating the online store.
- The prices shown are exclusive to the online store, include VAT at the applicable legal rate, and may be changed at any time without prior notice, unless stated otherwise. The price applicable to each order is the one in force at the time the order is confirmed.
- Alrossio aims to ensure that all information displayed (including prices, availability, and technical specifications) is correct and up to date. However, occasional errors may occur, namely due to information provided by third parties (manufacturers/suppliers) or technical issues. In such cases, Alrossio reserves the right to correct the information and/or cancel the order when there is an obvious error, including pricing errors, programming errors, or website malfunctions.
- Whenever an error is identified that may affect an order, the customer will be informed as soon as possible. If payment has already been made and the order is cancelled for this reason, the amount paid will be refunded in full, using the same payment method or another agreed method.
- Customers’ personal data is collected and processed solely for purposes related to account management, order processing, invoicing, delivery, and customer support, in accordance with the Privacy Policy. Alrossio does not sell or share personal data with third parties for commercial purposes, except where necessary to fulfill the order (for example, carriers and payment service providers) or to comply with legal obligations.
2. Payment Methods
Alrossio offers several secure payment methods, all in Euros (€). Your order will only be shipped after payment confirmation.
- ATM: After ordering, a Multibanco reference is generated which can be paid via Homebanking or at ATMs.
- Bank Transfer: The NIB is provided at the end of the order. Shipping is completed upon receipt of payment. There is a limit of €5,000 per order.
- MbWay: Fast payment via your mobile number, at no additional cost.
- PayPal: A 3% fee applies to the total purchase amount. Shipping will occur within 24 to 48 hours after payment confirmation.
- Payshop: Payment is made in person at a Payshop agent with the order reference.
- Cash on Delivery: The total order value must not exceed €300 (VAT included). A 2% fee is added to the purchase price. Payment is made in cash to the carrier upon delivery. This method is not valid for devices such as smartphones or tablets.
3. Shipping and Deliveries

- Shipping Costs and Deadlines:Shipping costs are the customer's responsibility. The customer will be informed of these charges before completing the purchase.

DPD accepts the cash on delivery payment method via Multibanco.
- Pickup in Stores:Pickup at a physical store is free and the order will be available within 24-48 hours.
- International Orders:Orders outside of Portugal must be placed by email (encomendas@alrossio.pt). The customer is responsible for any customs taxes imposed by Customs.
- Undelivered Orders:If an order is not delivered for reasons such as absence or incorrect address, the customer has up to 30 days to complain, otherwise the order will be considered lost.
4. Exchanges, Returns and Refunds
Alrossio respects the consumer's right to free resolution in accordance with Decree-Law No. 24/2014, of February 14.
- Right of Withdrawal (14 days): The customer has 14 days from the date of receipt of the order to withdraw from the contract and return the product(s), without having to provide a reason, by sending a clear statement (for example, by email) and/or by submitting the withdrawal form, where applicable.
- Conditions for accepting a return:For refund purposes, products must be returned: - In the original packaging, including all accessories, manuals, and components; and In good condition, without signs of use beyond what is necessary to verify the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the product. Alrossio does not accept returns in the following cases (where legally applicable): - Products with tampered security/warranty seals, or with altered/removed serial numbers/identifiers (e.g., IMEI); - Consumables or items whose use is irreversible (e.g., batteries, screen protectors, etc.) once used/installed; - Personal hygiene items where the packaging has been opened, for health and hygiene reasons.
- Return Shipping Costs: The direct costs of returning the product (shipping the product back to Alrossio) are borne by the customer, except where the return results from an error attributable to Alrossio or from a lack of conformity of the product.
- Refunds: After receiving and inspecting the returned product, Alrossio will issue the refund within a maximum of 14 days, using, whenever possible, the same payment method used by the customer, or alternatively by bank transfer upon provision of the customer’s IBAN. Alrossio may withhold the refund until it has received the returned goods or until the customer provides proof of return shipment (whichever occurs first). The customer is responsible for any diminished value of the product resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the product. In such cases, the refund amount may be adjusted accordingly. A fixed “administrative fee of €10” may apply.
5. Warranty and Damages
- Legal Warranty: Movable goods sold to consumers benefit from the legal warranty of conformity provided under Decree-Law no. 84/2021. For new goods purchased from 1 January 2022, the period is 3 years, without prejudice to applicable legal conditions. For used goods, the period may be reduced to 18 months, by express agreement. In the event of a lack of conformity, the consumer may exercise the rights provided by law vis-à-vis the seller, under the applicable legal framework.
- Warranty Procedure: In case of malfunction, the customer must request technical assistance by email (geral@alrossio.pt ). The consumer has 14 days to withdraw from the contract (right of withdrawal), under DL 24/2014. The consumer bears the direct costs of returning the goods, when duly informed. The consumer is responsible for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.
- Warranty on Repair Components: Alrossio does not accept returns of electronic components (LCDs, flex cables, etc.) showing evidence of negligence or incorrect handling.
6. Jurisdiction
In the event of a consumer dispute, the consumer may resort to an Alternative Consumer Dispute Resolution Entity (ADR). More information and the list of entities is available at consumidor.gov.pt. For disputes arising from online purchases, the consumer may also use the European Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform (RLL).
